This is a fantastic assessment which maps the new GCSE. Students will be required to juggle tenses and vocabulary with translations! This will suit a top set.
These are two activities, a dictation with sound followed by a translation. These two activities will last at least 30 minutes. I recorded myself, just play the tape!!!!
In this reading I included the irregular verbs in the past tense! This is perfect for all sets, just decide how many questions you wish your students to answer! Perfect as a task for consolidation or as an assessment.
This resource is just perfect to spice up things in the classroom with your year 11! I put a selection of speaking questions, grammar and translations in a game format, all colour coded with an extra blank sheet for the answers. Students will need a dice or pick a colour with their eyes shut or maybe put their finger on the sheet, be imaginative regarding how you wish to do this! I may allocate numbers to my students: You answer 1-5, your partner answers 6-10 etc… The dice will be the best option to make the lesson entertaining!
My games (4 different ones) cover two sections: Me, my family and friends and Technology. All the answers are in the book!
I hope you will love this resource! It took me quite a long time to put it together!
Perfect lesson to go with Studio 1 pages50 and 51. I added a reading with 8 questions, a writing, a matching task and a vocab task. Perfect cover lesson with all the answers.
I have created a NEW writing paper, mapping the AQA specimen paper. This is perfect to help students practise their exams written skills. You will find this document highly accurate and helpful.
This is a whole lesson with slides with answers following each task, perfect for a cover lesson if required. The lesson is about what you and others do during their free time. There is a reading and the lesson emphasises time phrases and sports!!
This lesson is complete and has many slides about the characters of the Hunger Games! Two starters, two vocabulary sheets, 10 slides about the characters, a writing and a speaking tasks etc... You will love it but the kids will love it more!
This is a thorough test for a higher set on the near future and the transports! If they don't know the answers, they simply have not practised enough!!! The powerpoint is the same as the test on Word to enable correction. Good luck!! This test can also be used with a lower set if allowed to work in pairs and used as an activity! It will get them to scratch their head!

In this resource, there is a starter about all the different groups of verbs in the simple future tense. It is followed by a writing and speaking with a listening: Students write a sentence about a picture in the simple future and ask their partner to guess what they said. Finally there is a reading with 11 questions. First students are asked to underline all the different tenses as well as the simple future and the conditional tenses. Then students can answer the questions. Students need to write a paragraph including "si" clauses and the simple future.
For the plenary students are asked to say a sentence with "si" clauses.
